
The "Early order Gift" is sent out when you have processed and completed your order details before Friday 14th November 2008. The net value of this order must exceed €700, (excluding VAT & any delivery charges). The "Early order Gift" will be delivered Free of charge (within Ireland) to your "Order" address.
Certainly, you can order now and select your "Required delivery date". We do all the planning to make sure your items get delivered on your selected dates. Deliveries are scheduled Monday to Friday in regular business hours 9am to 5pm. During the busier period leading up to Christmas it is very difficult to have timed deliveries if you need a delivery at a specific time then talk to the sales team when you place your order on 01-851-1098 or sales@hampersandco.com. If your premises for any reason are not open during these hours, e.g. close for lunch, close early etc, then please inform the sales team when ordering to assist our couriers as much as possible.

(If you really have to send an item after these dates above, it might be too late for delivery in the peak period leading up to Christmas).
During the busy season in the lead up to Christmas we estimate a minimum allowance of five (5) working days for deliveries within the Republic of Ireland from point of placing order is a realistic and pragmatic timing. Our extensive experience tells us this is a practical time period. During the rest of the year however, we can provide next day deliveries within Ireland with orders placed before 12pm Lunchtime.
Sorry! Not at present, we are currently negotiating these extended delivery services in the larger city areas, but it will be sometime in 2008/09 before this is confirmed. Some exceptions might apply but a particular delivery will have to be discussed and clarified with the Sales team.
Delivery to an individual address in Ireland is €14.00 per Hamper or Gift box (€16 to NI) with Parcel courier services (for Hampers up to 22Kg only). If you have several items all going to the same address, we ship a maximum of 5 items by An-Post, more than this and we ship in a carton or on a pallet to keep your delivery charges as low as possible.
Delivery of multiple Hampers or Gift Boxes to one nominated location (more than 5 items) would be organized to go on a carton or pallet delivery. We will confirm the delivery charges with you at the time of placing your Order. Remember of course that if your Order value is over €1500 (net order value, excluding VAT), then your delivery is Free! of charge.
For delivery outside of Ireland we provide you with a price quotation for all such orders. Please call us and we can provide very competitive prices, 01-851-1098. The international delivery charge covers the packaging and delivery only. Local customs duties and taxes may also be payable by your intended overseas recipient. We can discuss this when you are placing your order.
We would recommend that you call us and we can discuss your requirements 01-851-1098. International shipments will need to be checked for delivery charges and also suitability for any known shipping limitations to a particular region of the world. We will also clarify with you any potential local customs and excise issue for your selected items.
If you are sending more than 5 items we will ship these in a larger outer carton or on a Pallet which ever provides the best protection for your Goods. Please note that for Hampers or Gift Boxes to one address with an order value of less than €1500 (net order value, excluding VAT), we can provide reduced shipping costs. Prices vary depending upon destination, quantities, weights, and delivery times, etc. so please enquire with the Customer Service team for a quotation on our very competitive shipping rates, contact 01-851-1098.
If you are sending 4 items or less, we will ship these with our courier services, where possible we will endeavour to ship these in a larger outer carton to minimize your shipping expenses. The Gifts will be dispatched at the same time. However due to circumstances outside of our control, in the November/December period these items may unfortunately arrive at different times depending upon the workload of the local delivery services in each area.
If the package has already left the warehouse and is subsequently returned to Hampers & Co, we will contact you, to inform you that the item has been returned and the reasons why. At that point you can decide if you would like to resend the item in question, with revised delivery information. (Please see the Terms and Conditions of sale for more details relating to this subject). See our terms and conditions of sale for any further details. If I want to resend items onto colleagues overseas will you need to know this? It is very helpful if you can be as concise as possible when ordering your Hampers. Add as much pertinent information as possible to any emails or order forms you send into us, it all helps. For Example: If you are likely to be re-sending some Gift items then let us know. We will make sure that they are packaged appropriately for you to do this.
In the event of a non-arrival please Contact Us within 28 days of the expected delivery date and quote the order number and client details shown on the invoice paperwork and we will resolve any difficulties.
If you can obviously identify an item as damaged upon arrival, DO NOT, sign the delivery docket to accept the delivery. It is important that you don't sign for damaged goods as this could potentially release the delivery company from any related responsibility. Call the office 01-851-1098 as soon as the item arrives at your premises. Then you can report your findings by email to warehouse@hampersandco.com or fax the office number 01-851-1060 to report the details. We will resolve the difficulty as soon as we possibly can.
Notify us by email or fax ideally within 48 hours of receiving the Gift items. A description of the damage is also to be provided with any supporting information. We will resolve the difficulty as soon as we possibly can.
If you are receiving a lot of items all together then you will be presented with a Hampers & Co delivery docket, keep one copy as your record and one signed copy is returned to the driver as our proof of delivery (POD).
There are facilities for the selective tracking of individual items that have not reached their destination within a reasonable period of time, after the actual dispatch date from our warehouse. Proof of delivery isn't provided automatically for all deliveries. If you would like or need proof of delivery for all or part of your order, then please inform the Sales team when you place you are ordering.
